We have developed a range of stylish audio furniture with the current range of Linn* equipment in mind (including MAJIK, AKURATE and KLIMAX components).
Working with a prototype initially shown at the 2010 Bristol Sound & Vision Show, we gained valuable feedback from potential users, premier HiFi dealers and audio consultants regarding audiophile requirements, practicality and attractive design.
Available in the same wide range of colours, effects and finish as our isolation platforms and replacement shelving, they are made from 75% natural mineral and the finest acrylic. So much more than simple 'HiFi racking', these are items of audiophile furniture to grace any domestic environment.
The intention has been to provide a 'designer' alternative to racking currently available, taking in to account audiophile performance, practicality and unique design.
Design elements include: -
- 2, 3, 4 or 5 shelf options
- shelves exactly match the front (curved) profile of Linn* Majik and Akurate casework
- shelves gradually step back, in-line with the profile of the back pillar
- shelves are discretely braced with steel rods to reduce flexing and material 'creep'
- shelves are slightly rounded, with a view to reducing the likelihood of catching people or clothing
- cable management is supplied for audio AND power cables
- cable management holes are large enough for NAIM* Powerline IEC connectors to pass through
- tri-spiked design for easy levelling (2 spikes front, 1 spike rear)
- all spikes are height adjustable for a discrete appearance
- optional matching spike pucks available to protect solid floors
- optional top shelf 'cable cover' available, which also acts as a small additional shelf
(n.b. this can be used to stand an Apple* iPad loaded with DS controller software)
NB. the standard 5 shelf design is taller than the 4 shelf design as the shelf spacing is identical. However, it can be made to match the height of the 4 shelf design if required for a more compact racking solution.
