Isolation Platform Size and Shape
We can supply Rectangular/Square platforms in any size up to 450 x 500mm.
We can also supply platforms in irregular shapes and sizes. Please send us details of your requirements and we will let you know if we can manufacture the platforms required.
A note about feet!...
All STAGE ONE platforms are delivered with 6 Sorbothane* hemispheres ('feet'). These allow a platform to work with equipment of different weight.
The platforms provide for easy placement of 3, 4, 5 or 6 feet to accommodate different loads. For Sorbothane* to work correctly it is important the feet 'work in compression', being compressed by the weight of the platform and the audio equipment within their normal working range. So, it is important not to use too many feet to support a particular item of audio equipment otherwise isolation from external vibrations will be less effective.
We supply advice about the number of 'feet' to use to optimise isolation of your audio equipment. This is nothing to worry about, but is something we feel should be pointed out.
